How Much is Really Too Much !!!


Portion control is very important for weight watchers and fitness freaks , here are some tips on “how much is really TOO MUCH”


# Ensure you have the right mix of Protein , Carbohydrates & right Fats .


# As a thumb rule for a average normal human , your Magic Plate should comprise of 30% high quality Protein ,30% Green Vegetables , 30% Nutrient dense Starchy Vegetables of Grain & rest 10% should be quality fat .


# Serving Sizes should be

  1. Butter / Oil : ½-1 Table spoon

  2. Cooked Veg : Size of our fist

  3. Cooked Meat : 1 Palm Size

  4. Almond / Nuts : 1 Handful

  5. Salad & Fruits : 2 Handful

We should focus on quality of food rather than quantity , eat to 70% of your capacity to allow digestive system to digest and absorb nutrients efficiently .
